What is the price range of your wedding gowns?
The price range of our bridal gowns starts around $1,500 and goes up to $9,000, with a majority of our gowns between the $2,000–$4,000 price point.

Do I need an appointment to try on a wedding dress?
Yes, you need an appointment. To maximize your experience, we prefer to pair you with one of our professional stylists and give you our undivided attention, so we encourage brides to book an appointment in advance. However, we can accommodate walk-ins when possible. Click here to schedule an appointment!

How long are the bridal appointments?
Bridal appointments differ in length depending on whether it’s your first visit or a follow-up.

  • First Bridal Appointment, Party of 6 Appointment, Off the Rack Appointment : 1 hour and 15 minutes
  • Follow-up Appointments, Accessories Appointment, Party Edit Appointment: 1 hour

When should I start shopping for a wedding dress?
We recommend starting 7–12 months in advance. Wedding dresses can take 4–7 months from the designer, and when you factor in shipping and alterations, the total process can take 7–12 months. This allows ample time for fittings and accessorizing.

What if I have less than 7 months until my wedding and still need a dress?
We can help! Options include:

  • Rush orders for an additional fee (designer dependent)
  • New stock gowns available for immediate purchase (availability limited and constantly changing)
  • Sample sale gowns- samples tried on in the studio that are being sold at a discount

What sizes are your sample gowns?
Sample gowns range from bridal size 2–24, with most between sizes 8–14. Bridal sizing differs from street sizing and varies by designer. We can use clips and other solutions to help you envision your correct size.

Do you offer a cash discount?
Yes! We offer a 3% cash discount on your gown purchase.

Can I book a double appointment with another bride?
We typically do not allow two brides to change in one room. We recommend against double appointments, but special circumstances can be discussed with Emma & Grace. Give us a call!

Are there fees for Saturday appointments?
Yes, appointments on Saturdays have a $25 booking fee due to high demand and waitlists.

Can I book an appointment just to get an idea of styles?
Yes, call the studio to inquire about a Silhouette Appointment if you’re coming to explore shapes and styles only.

Will I need alterations on my dress?
Yes, most dresses require alterations. Cost depends on the work needed.

Do you do alterations at your studio?
Yes! We have in-house seamstresses trained to make your gown fit perfectly. We can only take a certain number of alterations per month.
Unfortunately, we cannot alter gowns purchased elsewhere.

Are alterations included in the price of my wedding dress?
No. The average cost is $800–$1,200, depending on style and fit changes. Always plan to budget for this.

Is it strange to purchase a dress at my first appointment?
Not at all! Many brides purchase their gown at their first appointment.

Where should I park at Emma & Grace Denver?
We are located in the RiNo neighborhood, just north of Downtown Denver. Free street parking is available, and we also have a parking lot south of our building with designated Emma & Grace spots.

Do you offer returns or exchanges?
Unfortunately, we are unable to do any refunds or exchanges in-store.

What if my measurements change after I buy my wedding dress?
Don’t worry! If your measurements increase or decrease, contact your stylist—we can advise on alterations or adjustments.

Can you go wedding dress shopping without being engaged?
We recommend waiting until you are engaged. Bridal vision and needs may change as your plans evolve.

What do you wear to try on the wedding gowns?
We require underwear to try on dresses. Nude, seamless underwear or Spanx works best. Strapless bras are optional, but many gowns have built-in cups. We also provide bras and Spanx if needed.

Should you wear Spanx to try on wedding dresses?
Optional. We provide bras and Spanx if you forget or prefer nude/neutral undergarments.

How many wedding dresses should you try on?
There’s no set number of dresses you should try on. Some brides try just a few, while others explore many options. We recommend trying no more than 30 gowns to prevent decision fatigue. Wedding dress shopping doesn’t need to be a marathon—taking your time helps you enjoy the experience and recognize the dress that truly feels like ‘the one.’

Do you provide any refreshments?
While we do not serve alcohol (we do not have a liquor license), we offer a self-serve coffee and tea bar, as well as water for our guests.

Who should I bring to my appointment?
Make sure the people whose opinions truly matter are at your appointment, especially because the moment you find your dress can hit fast — and you’ll want those most important people there to share it with you. More isn’t always better.

How many people can I bring with me to my appointment?”
For a First Bridal Appointment/Off-the-Rack appointment, you may bring up to 4 guests plus the bride. If you would like to bring more guests, we offer an upgraded appointment for an additional $50 to accommodate a larger party.

What is a good wedding dress budget?
Budget depends on your priorities. Our special order gowns range from $1,500–$9,000.

Is there anything else that I should know before I visit?
Our studio is street-level and wheelchair/stroller friendly.
