Dana & Vince dated just 10 months before Vince proposed in their backyard on an August summer night over dinner. They knew immediately that they wanted their wedding day to feel like they were hosting an intimate dinner party in their backyard. Comfort, hospitality, intimacy and love were the feelings Dana & Vince were trying to achieve for them and their guests. And by the looks of these photos they accomplished just that! They created a timeless, simple canvas with their own personal styles sprinkled throughout to accessorize the day; we are obsessed! Dana paired her classy Leanne Marshall dress with her mom's wedding veil, who had celebrated her anniversary just 5 days before, making the veil 37 years old. Dana found her dress during our Leanne Marshall trunk show. A little more about the shopping expericene from the bride herself.
"I ended up purchasing my Leanne Marshall dress on the day of the trunk show so that I could chat with Leanne herself about my vision and mainly about the dress that wasn't available at Emma & Grace to try on, eventually I went on to buy it without every trying it on. But I was 100% confident about it. Leanne showed me the materials and explained the bodice and really broke it all down for me. The fittings went smoothly, and the seamstresses did a beautiful job with modifying my mother's veil. I never looked at dresses to specifically match the veil, but the color scheme and style went more perfect then I could have imagined and it was so special to wear her veil."
