ADVICE | Is Sample Sale for Me?

We have had a lot of questions lately regarding our upcoming Sample Sale. For that reason, we thought we would walk through some of our most frequently asked questions about sample sale to help you decide if this is the event for you. A Sample Sale is a face paced event where we are looking to sell some of our older or discontinued inventory off-the-rack and a major discount to make room for our new inventory. A sample dress has only been used in studio for other brides to try on. Sample sale gowns are sold as is and are heavily discounted if there is any damage.

Here are a few questions to ask yourself if you are considering coming to a Sample Sale:

Are you looking to spend less and get a great deal for a wedding dress?
Are you planning a wedding with a tight timeline, less than 6 months?
Are you looking for a second wedding day look, but don't want to break the bank?

If you said yes to any of these questions, then a Sample Sale may be a great option for you! We’re going to answer some frequently asked questions to find out if a sample sale is the right fit for you.

What sizes are the samples?

A majority of our discounted sample wedding dresses range from size 6-16. Keep in mind that bridal sizes are different from street sizes dependent on style and designer. Sample gowns can typically be taken down 2-3 dress sizes! Keep in mind, we also have gowns outside of that average range. If you have sizing questions, give us a call!

Does the price of the dress include alterations or cleaning?

We are proud to offer our Colorado brides a great selection of affordable wedding dresses, especially during our sample sale. In order to keep the cost of our sample dresses low, cleaning and alterations are not included in the price of the dres

I love this sample dress, but I need to sleep on it before making a decision. Is that okay?

Unfortunately, there are no holds on sample dresses. If you love the dress, we encourage you to purchase before someone else does!

If I decide later that I don’t like the dress, can I return it and get my money back?

Sample sale dresses are non-refundable/returnable. You want to be sure that you love the dress before purchasing!

I haven’t made a dress appointment before. Is a sample sale a smart place to start my wedding dress search?

If you are not sure what you’re looking for when you’re searching for a wedding dress, a sample sale may be overwhelming. We suggest scheduling an appointment to see what kind of dresses you like as far as silhouette, neckline, and fit. A stylist can be more accommodating to your needs during an appointment rather than during a sample sale.
